I am the proud owner of Cheeky Monkey Tattoo in Monrovia, MD, which opened it's doors February 28, 2009. I would like to thank all of my family and friends for their endless support, encouragement, and help in making my dream of opening this shop a reality. I am eternally grateful to you all for your undying faith in me.

I have loved tattoos since I was a child, when I saw the tattoos that my Uncle Jim acquired while in the Navy. I was very young, but I couldn't wait to get tattooed myself. I was already hooked. I finally got my first "real" tattoo in 1976, in Miami, on the way home from a trip to Key West, FL.....an eagle, and I was addicted.

Well to keep a long story short, one thing lead to another, and I have been tattooing since 1987. I also do body piercings. I really enjoy doing fineline, single needle work and Asian style tattoos, but can offer just about any style of artwork you prefer, including portraits, black & gray, old school, full color, cover-ups, reworks, and one-of-a-kind custom designs. There is nothing more gratifying than sitting down with a customer, talking with them about the design they have in their head, and drawing it up for them, the way they envisioned it. We humans are all unique, and may all see things a bit differently in our minds, but I will work with you until I have interpreted your vision the way your mind envisions it.

Cheeky Monkey Tattoo has a friendly and courteous staff, eager to help you, in a clean, fun, relaxing atmosphere. All of our instruments are autoclave sterilized, and we use single-service needles and inks.
